Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get some motors for some of my old tyco engines. I have about 3 of them that dont work, and I know that tyco doesnt make them anymore, but they have sentimental value and I would like to get them up and running again. So if anyone can tell me where I might be able to get motors for them, even if they are from a different company would be nice.

Sorry for the comment but IMHO the Tyco motors and trucks are garbage. I just throw them out and re-power with Athearn Blue Box loco chassis.
The RS-18 is an old Life Like RS-11 slightly modified and mounted on an Athearn BB GP7 chassis.(this one is not for the faint of heart) Runs far better than the junk that previously powered it. The next 3 are Tyco's slightly modified to get the design I want and are mounted on Athearn Blue Box U33C chassis. The furthest in #2034 is a modified Tyco C430 and the other 2 have cabs from a C430 and long hoods from Tyco C630's.
I may be gutting out a few more Tyco's (some have never run, but that's no guarantee they will now) I can save them but Canada Post is not cheap with regard to shipping. I do believe the words "Rip Off" was coined for them.

Cheers Willis
