New Member, Past Railroader

Hey fellow railroad modelers, I'm Chris from Delaware. I'm 22 years old and have the itch to drag out my old HO trains. My dad bought my sister and I one of the train sets sometime around 1989 - 1991. I haven't had it out in years, and probably last ran a train almost ten years ago, but I was online last night and out of nowhere HO trains popped into my head. I have maybe six or eight locomotives, and around 40 - 50 freight cars. Our local Radioshack carried HO trains for a brief period sometime between 1995/6 for about two years. After that I basically lost my connection and the nearest hobby shop is about an hour away. I don't remember what brands we used to buy, but I've looked around online at Atlas and Bachmann and they seem to have just about the best there is. I would like to gradually set up a layout, I've got the finished half of my basement where I could more than likely set up a nice 10 x 20 table at least. For now, no hurry, I'd like to sit back and gather ideas and equipment. I'm glad a forum such as this exists, for it will be of great help when I decide to start my railroading again. I believe I'm going to go with Western Maryland and Seaboard System as my primary lines. Thanks for reading and I'll keep everyone posted in the future!
