Projects I've been picking away at over the warmer months and finished up this week.
First is a City Classics company house. Only added details are window shades, porch railings, and a stack pipe for the small side addition. I installed both chimneys that came with the kit to suggest this is an older home originally heated by a fireplace in each room.
Next is the Walthers Parkview Apartments background bldg. Picture quality is a bit off but the brickwork has been mortered and then weathered with dust overs of engine black and grime. Railings, decks and stairs have been lightly weathered with rust and grime. Curtains and shades are various colored papers and ribbon. A few of the inhabitants are outside clearing their lungs and include a sherrif with his rifle, his neighbor across the way on crutches, Budweiser Billy with a cold one, Moon Streaker sunning his buns, and Weezy Jefferson in her beach chair next to the pile of clutter.
