I inherited a bunch of German HO trains (mostly Fleischmann) in very good condition. Bought new in the late '70's to early '80's. I can't find any comparable stuff on eBay. What's the best way to figure out their value?
Posting pics here on this forum will give folks an idea what you have. Also look at ePay and see what similar items are selling for.

If you are going to sell them on eBay then the price is what the market will bear, so you might as well just list them. Take good pictures and list the items low. If they have value, the bidders will bid it up.
I'm doing this (eBay) for my late father's brass stuff. All you can do is research the heck out of it - also do Completed Items searches to see what stuff actually went for. Then take really good pictures and post a few to see how it goes.

I would check out some sites that sell used HO stuff to try and get a gage on what they are selling for !
