Please, if anybody has one. I am looking for the drawbar from a Bachmann HO GS4 that attaches to the tender. It goes around the front truck mount and the truck snaps in over it. It moves like a lever. It's one of a two piece drawbar with the other piece attached to the engine. It also has two vertical pins on it that go through the forward pieces holes. Thank you, Dan.
My photos show the unit I have but the piece I'm looking for is missing in the pics.

You could probably find one on eBay.
These aren’t the most reliable locomotives; if you have the opportunity to replace the wheel set gears, do it. The gears tend to crack on the older ones, and even the newer ones can be just as bad.
Otherwise, the locomotive should run fine when you get the drawbar.
Did you check with Bachman repair department
