So now I'm in the aggregate business. One of the great things about our hobby is the ability to become a powerful industrialist ! A tycoon of industry. :D All that's missing is the $$$$$$ millions!
This is a work in progress. More stuff to be added and or changed.

Sweet! Those CSX hoppers are great. I saw some of those Walthers hoppers at the last train show I went to but they want $99.00 for them and I think it was for 6 cars. I wish I could of gotten them but it was to high I thought. I would have like to seen other RR names but all there were was CSX.

Looks like you are off to a goo start. When I go back to making a room layout (instead of my small shelf layout) I will be doing one of those but a smaller scale like this....

Looks almost as complicated as a steel mill. Looks like a nice model with a lot of work put into it so far.

WOW this is impressive, who couldn't fall in love with that set up.

Who makes the Kits you used in this pic?
Outstanding work here, thanks for letting us see this.

Coplay

Thanks everyone. The CSX cars were a 4 car set. Half price on ebay. NO OTHER BIDS ! Where was everyone that day? Anyway this was inspired by the cement industry of Coplay Pennsylvania. The bird's eye view on multimap.com will show you my inspiration.

I hope this link works. You will have to copy and paste it.

Here ya go, I tiny-URL'd it for you: http://tinyurl.com/5g5bls

[LATER EDIT:] I don't know what happened!? The tinyurl feature used to take you directly to the linked-to web page - now it takes you to an intermediate page with ads on it!

Now that is one neat complex! I like the way you integrated the Pikestuff building, that's about the same concept (and color!) as my bakery on my layout, Pikestuff roof over an unloading area crammed between 2 Walther's kits.

Excellent work. If I didn't know any better, I would think I was looking at the old Staley (now Tate and Lyle) plant in Decatur, Illinois.

I like the way you've melded the older and more modern plants together. Sure would be a nice addition to any layout.
