Recently I received 4 boxcars in the mail from a modeler in Austin, Texas. They came equipped with horn hook couplers and had not a lick of weathering. Now, anybody who knows me knows that I couldn't leave them in that state. I'm posting two photos of each model. The first is before weathering , the second is after.

Jeffrey, I like how that weathering toned down the color of the paint. What are you using again?
 
Yeah, that's some very effective fading on those cars. The Cotton Belt one is a little blotchy looking for my taste but it still looks good compared to that shiny plastic. :)
