I use this tool almost every day.

It was given to me over thirty years ago by a die repairman at work. They do show their age but work flawlessly.
 
I use a wall mounted swing arm magnifier with a built in t9 florescent but they're unwieldy and not very portable . I think its an 8X mag .

Harbor Freight has head magnifiers with lights , I may try to pick one up , next time I m there , they're only $5 .
 
Willie: I agree with you about this being a great tool and use mine whenever I do close work. I purchased mine after cataract surgery and my eyes were re-manufactured for distance viewing and I had to use reading glasses which didn't cut it until I purchased the headsets which are available in different powers.

I've noticed over the last 6 months, or so i might be ready for a pair. The people in this hobby that have and use them seem to speak highly of them!
