Actually the panels were the easiest part of the build. The panels have 3 tabs. They glue into a ring that has slots. what I did wad glue the bottom with thicker glue that got really sticky in about 30 seconds, enough to hold it vertical. Went to the next panel and did the dame. I then ran Tamiya thin glue (green bottle with brush) up the seam. It wick and sets fast. Once you get a few in I alternated right to left giving the side I just installed a minutes to set. It worked out great.Looks like ya done good!
I was looking at those kits but got scared off when I heard the vertical panels were a beach to do.
How did you find them?
Nice Mike, seeing as you've built quite a large facility, and you have the space, two more wouldn't go amiss.I posted this in the coffee shop this morning, but thought i would show it here as well.
I put the second wet/dry bin together yesterday. This one went much easier than the first one.
This time I cut all the parts out and sanded instead of doing a few at a time. I then organized them all in piles so they were ready to go. On the panel assembly, last time I glued the bottom with a thicker glue and ran a brush of thinner glue up the seam and held in place. This time I did the same, but then added the U-channel that covers the seam. That made it instantly able to stand on its own without a lot of holding.
On the base it has nipples on both ends of the legs. On the first one, I fought to get the holes lined up on all 18 of them so the ring and bottom funnel sits flush to the base. This time I just cut all the top nipples off with a knife, and didn't have to fiddle with hitting all the holes. speeded the process up a great deal.
I will add the ladders, cages and platforms after painting them whatever color they will eventually be.
Now I have to decide if I want to build 2 more or just have the 2 of them.

That's probably The way its looking. Once you get one under your belt, they are pretty easy to build.Nice Mike, seeing as you've built quite a large facility, and you have the space, two more wouldn't go amiss.
Some good container road names still in stock that are sold out here in the US.
And I've never had a dude ever tell me that before, I'm flattered, I think.Beautiful curves!
(I’ve never said that to a dude before)
OK Mike, so which mountain(s) are you building, Everest, Kilimanjaro or the Rockies ???
