MV lenses

I am searching for MV jewel lenses to replicate ditch lights but I cannot find any suppliers. Walthers is out of stock on almost all MV products. Any ideas as to where to find them?

how do you go about figuring out what size you would need? can you use these jewels with a regular grain of wheet bulb behind it?

I've used these on GE and EMD's in HO scale and they come with lenses, but the best part is if you want to run bulbs, they work great also with 1.2mm bulbs.

how do you go about figuring out what size you would need? can you use these jewels with a regular grain of wheet bulb behind it?

You can use them if you peel off the silver backing on therear of the lens. Use a very sharp X-acto knife and slowly start to peel away the backing. Once you get it started use some pliers to finish the job.
