Honestly, QSI is good for only one type of diesel engine. Supercharged (Roots blown). Their turbo sounds aren't accurate. And None of their locomotives "throttle up" they use a form of synthesization to make it "rev". Soundtraxx actually records the notch up.
MTH good or bad
don't get these locomotives they won't allow you to program each cv with out having dcs (their version of dcc) so unless you have dcs it's not even worth it... so plz go with anything other than mth unless u got dcs then go for it but aethern genesis ftw

Welcome to the forums. However, im guessing you didnt read any of this thread. Thats been highly discussed several times over in this post.
Ill go along with you though. Im already aware of thier shortcomings and not intrested in any of thier products as long as they arent fully DCC compatible.
