Here is an interesting car I got photos of this weekend I thought others would like to see. It's interesting how the large wheel seems to turn the entire center of the car with the turnout track somehow.

If anyone is interested in modeling this car I have lots of photos I took of details that will help with the build.

Wow what a neat flat car load, could get the load at the hobby shop, now the car, well that'll be a bit of work. Actually a very neat project. Thanks for sharing

Very interesting car for sure! Just begs to be modeled, doesn't it?
I don't think the center rotates however, the center beam would interfere with the rotation and that's about all for structure on the car. The third pic shows how low the load sits.
I noticed it has Norfolk Southern reporting marks, also interesting.

I guess those are switch sections that would be too wide to fit horizontally if they were stacked on a flatcar. I guess it's the most efficient way to transport the sections but it sure looks like it must put a lot of lateral strain on those track sections.

uploaded all files to my site

I wanted to let all know I've uploaded most of the files I have on this car to my web site. The files can be found on the page http://rbdhd.t35.com/photosMOW/ and if you want to model the car let me know and we can make arrangements for getting the photos to you.
