Just found this in AJC.com

A body found earlier this month in a wooded area of east Alabama has been identified as a Gwinnett County man missing since before Christmas.
St. Clair County, Ala., Sheriff Terry Surles said Wednesday the body discovered Jan. 3 near Riverside, Ala., is that of 61-year-old Barry Alan Helling of Snellville.
Helling, who was found by two fishermen in woods off U.S. 78 east of Birmingham and about 140 miles from his home, died from an apparent gunshot wound to the back of the head.
Helling was last seen leaving his house on Dec. 9, and was reported missing by his partner later that day

Our thoughts go out to his family an freinds for a fellow rail fanner

To be honest I didn't make the connection between the missing railfan and the body the found over near Riverside.
The local news has been covering it here the part few days and even showed some security camera photos of two people allegedly using the credit cards of this man. Trouble is these photos were from Atlanta Ga., and Tampa Fl. Neither of the pix were of good enough quality to make a positive ID other than to say about how tall they are and the body type of these people.
For the sake of the family I do hope the authorities find them soon.

Just send whoever it was over here to Louisiana. Us redneck model railroaders have got something special for folks like that. It involves a tall tree, a rope, some fishing line and an alligator or two.

Again some sick minds on the globe...

Those are the right ingredients for those people!
BTW: you forgot the toothsticks, for the alligators of course!!

They said that at the time he went missing a pick up truck was spotted being driven away with what looked like the victims property on board, hope they get em

again truly sorry about the man's death. May God dish out justice to the killers and May he send peace to His family and loved ones !!
