I build this layout was motivated by the astonishing scenery of stillwater,MN.
St. Paul Robert St. Bridge, Minneapolis, and Menomonie.
I was there during 1995-1997.
Thanks for lost of web photos so I can build this N scale layout when planning.
My first job is to put the Robert St. Bridge and Missipi River in front of the Main Panel.
The St. Paul City Skyline in the back.
Union Depot of St paul at right.

I like the scenery looking at St. Paul Skyline from the south Bank.
The Minneapolis is located at left loop.

I find a local shop to paint the KATO F7A unit and SantaFe 's super chief passenger car to a Minnesota Zephyr passenger train.

The loco no. is 787.

With another Stillwater train station, the Stillwater scenery is located at the back loop.

Menomonie, WI is located at right corner, with a lake scenery.

Looks like you've made a great start on your layout. Good job matching the paint scheme on the F unit. Now you need to come up with some decals and what looks to be a Nathan air horn on the roof.

I'm glad to see another person modeling a part of Minnesota. My Aunt lives in Stillwater, so I'm familiar with the area. Don't forget to make half of your buildings for Stillwater into antique stores.:) Good start so far.
