Heres a video of My HO Scale New Haven Maybrook Line Layout...is a short trip following a westbound from New Haven to Maybrook, and following one back to Cedar Hill with a short trip on the Berkshire Line and Smith Street yard in Poughkeepsie..and the star of the layout the Poughkeepsie Bridge

That bridge is pretty darn amazing, right? Wow...

The model that is quite impressive, but the real one is a monster!

Total length6,768 feet (2,063 m)
Width35 feet (11 m)[1]
Height212 feet (65 m)
Longest span2 × 548 feet (167 m)
No. of spans7

That’s over 29 inches tall in HO, nearly 2-1/2 feet. I don’t think his is quite that tall, and here’s why. The next number is a real deal breaker... 6,768 feet. Planning to build that to scale? You are gonna need a bigger boat... err basement. That works out to 77 feet in HO.
So, since he didn’t have a vacant subway tunnel to build his layout in, he shrunk the length, (still very impressive) and shortened the height up to match, keeping it somewhat proportional.
