Hi there I have a mantua 2-8-2 steam locomotive anyone know where to get parts for them would be really helpful to get directed in the right direction. Thankyou

Would be helpful to know which parts you are looking for.
I would start on eBay and then the BOWSER website. They had a fire I believe and I'm not sure that they are back?

I have had great luck finding odd parts for Mantua steam engines with them . You will want to speak with Kevin . He knows his stuff when it comes to old Mantua trains and engines , They also do repairs , buy , sell and swap . They are really great people to deal with ! Best of luck and Be Safe !!

I put a can motor in mine. Runs at 46MPH (scale), which is good enough for me. Slow speed is great.

Yes, but I don't remember mine as having the compressors on the front.

Have you tried ebay? There might be a complete set of valvegear for the Mike.

yes and no such luck thinking about taking both my mantua's to a repair shop and seeing if they can fix it.

I just checked, I have complete valve gear for both sides. I also have instructions for the 2-8-2. Which side do you need or do you need both?
