To follow-up on my post above, here is a short video of the loco in action. This is one of the first test runs I did after taking it off the programming track.
Are you going to use these on your railroad or are they going to remain in their boxes. They look very collectible.also a grand slam for me on these hoppers.....

Ya know they're people who would have these left in boxes as collectibles but I will be opening these but will be keeping the packaging as clean and undamaged as possible. Another words the boxes will be well kept. I am not overly concerned with losing any value as these will retain that. I don't think they will increase. Anyways I will keep searching for more of these and if I stumble on another that is a duplicate I will buy and store it.Are you going to use these on your railroad or are they going to remain in their boxes. That’s what makes you a model railroader! I would run them too. I have one for use in the spray booth. Nice addition but the spring holders are clumsy on my unit. A buddy has 2 and his springs are fine. Still playing with it 8 months after I got it.Not quite RR related, but close, this arrived today, hopefully it will make my painting a little better.

Those are great cars. I use PWRS when all else fails in the USA. Ordered my UP Gensets from them as the price was one of their rare big really good sales. Turned out they had sound and were marked incorrectly and priced wrong so they cancelled the order on me around 2/2022. No problem since they caught it before shippingalso a grand slam for me on these hoppers.....

Then a Roundhouse building kit (#1-01 Single Story Brick)

Then a couple of Suydam & Co. Kits (#1 Corrugated Metal Furniture Factory and #76 Ed's Market)

The corrugated kit requires soldering, definitely something different.
Then the previously described BB kit and the hobby tools.

Things I can use.
you will have to do a side by side comparison for us. I have 3 exact rail to build still myself.since they cost more then double this one
Gary, I have 3 other Exactrail cars on the layout. They are wonderful cars, roll great, have great weight, are very detailed and just look great. I can compare the 2 brands of coil cars side by side but Walthers did a fine job with the coil car I have. I have 2 from Exactrail enroute. The Walthers car is not heavily detailed but it is good enough and this car does roll great and has good weight. 5 of these in a manifest would be fine. When switching as that is what I like, I prefer the more detailed cars.you will have to do a side by side comparison for us. I have 3 exact rail to build still myself.
