How’s that done? You could also use 1:1 track templates rather than tracing.

Nah! nice try tho'.Wow, that’s beyond my brain power. Lol.
Tables pretty much done I’m ready to start laying track.
I like that idea, as sometimes the track doesn't seem to want to follow the real plan. The only thing with doing it that way is that your rail joiners will have 1 use on them. I like to press a joiner once into place an never move it again.I think I’ll lay it all out and use a few push pins to hold her down and I can trace around it so I can figure out where all my saw cuts will be.
I have plenty of rail joiners. I will use new ones when laying track permanently. So the book has you doing L-girder AND a solid sheet of plywood in cookie cutter style. Once again interesting.

Wow, I did not know that one could buy train stuff from Wally World.Need a few things from Wally World.
You can buy almost anything off their website. I haven't wandered an in-store toy aisle for a while, though.Wow, I did not know that one could buy train stuff from Wally World.
Me too!I dunno why, but the sight of brand-new Atlas track still in the packages always gets me excited!!!
Must be the "Model Railroader" in me.
That looks great! I know it is not the full track plan, but leaving it like that would be great for building tall red-dirt hills like the ones you want to achieve! That track plan looks real nice so far for running trains!
I prefer something a little "curvier"Me too!
I actually went to Walmart today and while I didn't see any train stuff, there was a center-aisle display of model car kits, pretty cool stuff. You can buy almost anything off their website. I haven't wandered an in-store toy aisle for a while, though.
