I have a couple of 3-truck shays I am working on at this time,...and it has been a learning experience!



In particular I have a great looking Westside model that needs one or two driveshaft universals,..and perhaps some other parts

My thoughts turned to how many other folks have experienced problems with their Westside shays, and how many might be setting around unused??
Anyone willing to sell theirs for parts??
 
My Shay runs great in one direction, but clicks as it goes the opposite direction….lol, will look at it once my track is finished.
 
Mine is an old roundhouse that I picked up that already had a decoder installed, 2 log cars and a caboose. Also a little bag of a couple parts.
