When it comes to painting locomotives, I SUCK. I want to repaint a GP-35 Life-Like to the railroad I want to depict and I need someone who does good work to help me.
I would be happy to buy the paint and decals and send them to you and have you detail it.

WHAT IS YOUR LABOR WORTH?

Please let me know via email.

Thanks,

I got some good crayons I havent broke out the box yet, lol. Seriously though, Josh does excellent work. He painted a couple of BNSF dash9's for me for a great price too.

"A man has to know his limitations" :) Smart move to get a nice paint job done for you if you're not at the level to do it yourself yet. The question I'd ask is...why a Life-Like GP-35? If it's a Proto 2000 then that I can understand. If it's an earlier Life-Like, why not get a quality engine like a Walthers P2K or Atlas Silver so you'll have a good running as well as a good looking engine.

Well,

If I had the $$$ to afford a 2000 locomotive, I would try to keep it as stock as possible. Seeing as the Life Like GP35 is so common, I realize I wouldn't have a hard time finding an extra shell, if it got trashed. And actually, it is my best runner (so far). But for now, I need to put my trains away for the summer.

I will probably get the urge in the fall but I am going to keep everyones (Josh) name when I am prepared to do it.

Thanks guys,

CM&W
