Ahhh - weathering is a possibility - Graffiti, mm not so sure about that To be honest - I'm pretty lousy at both, well weathering anyway - never tried graffiti.

You can get quite decent graffiti decals now, if your so inclined.

And some are laser cut so no more fiddling with pointy knives and bandaids!

Be careful of who ya buy the graffiti from. Some of them have a white backing that isn't separate from the graffiti itself. Looks like crap when applied to rolling stock. Basically, the vendor makes his money off those who don't take a close look at the product, i.e. sucker.

I don't recall who they are, but I got into applying graffiti decals to a lot of my Rolling Stock and bought from several vendors online. Most of them were graffiti on clear background but one of them was the graffiti on a white background which really looks stupid unless you want to go and have to try to trim away as much of the white as possible before applying.

Some of the sellers on eBay are the biggest culprits of the white background. Even if they state clear it’s on subpar material. If you purchase through Microscale, Blairline or someplace reputable it won’t be a problem.

Blair Line is my "go to" graffiti source. Especially now that they are laser-cut. Older ones weren't.

Just make sure it states laser cut on the packaging. and sheet. There may still be some old stock running around.
