Locomotive Paint?

I recall that a while back someone had mentioned (I think in an article in MR magazine, but don't quote me) using locomotive paint. I don't recall if it was intended to carry electrical power. Either way, I recently painted the drivers on a locomotive and the paint peeled off very quickly. That reminded me of the article.

1. Is there such thing as locomotive paint?

2. What is it and what is it supposed to do?

There is conductive paint. Maybe that's what you are thinking of?
Locomotive paint is available from a variety of sources, in most projects I've been involved with, it comes from DuPont.
