I'll show one. It is older but still one of my favorites. And also features a bridge.

Nothing beats an outdoor shot to add that touch of realism. The storm clouds in the background really make that shot. Toss in the slight retouch for the exhaust plume and that's a winner in my book. The only detractor that I find is that it is a shot of a mid train helper set, yuck, hehe.

Actually it was taken in the basement and the background added in the computer. I made it mid-trains because MRLs usually don't lead coal trains. And I could put a coal hopper in front of the locos, making it easier to clip out the old background. You are right though, it is hard to beat a natural background and natural light.

Paul, can ask you what you used for the bushes by the stream? They look very nice.

The bushes are tree material from Scenic Express. It was supposed to be blackberry. I still don't know how to do blackberry well.

My son has a Blackberry, finds it quite useful! :)

Did he get his come Scenic Express also?

You have lots of great photos, Bob, are you going to share one of your favorites?

Paul are all of the MRL units DCC and speed matched? Looks like fun running helpers!
