Let's see your 50's era layout!

ModelRailroadForums.com is a free Model Railroad Discussion Forum and photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. Online since 2002, it's one of the oldest and largest model railroad forums on the web. Whether you're a master model railroader or just getting started, you'll find something of interest here.

All of our layouts are 50s themed. Gotta love the 50s :D

Here are some photos of our Santa Fe HO layout:

impressive photo's. I am new on the website and still don't have the thing entirely figured out.

Well done Zoe Graf, are you from Canada by chance? (The crossbuck reads Railway Crossing rather than Railroad Crossing, and the station name appears French Canadian.)

Thanks.
I'm going to switch the green bottles on the trunk of the car with brownish bottles to represent beer bottles.
Yes I'm from Canada, but live no where near the area I model, which is Atlantic Canada. I grew up there in the 1960's. I wasn't around in the 50's, but the look is similar to the 60's because not much changes back there. The name on the Station is fictitious to give it a northern New Brunswick feel. I'm trying to get a bit of every aspect of the Atlantic Canada feel into my freelance layout. Have you seen my other shots under the post "Scenes from a narrow shelf layout"?
