Layout Photo Album

Although it's still in development, the layout is really starting to look good there. That scenery is great, and so's the backdrop.

You and me both! In designing my garage layout, I couldn't help but imagine what a great On30 setup I could put in that space.

Of course my PRR GG1 would look REALLY out of place there, and that fact I've got about 100 or so other pieces of HO locos and cars and about 4 pieces of On30 makes me quite hesitant to switch. Still, that Climax sure looks sweet...

Just embrace the darkside, young Luke Skywalker:eek:
On30 is the most fun I have had in model railroading. I find narrow gauge offers the best of model railroading. You have enough operation to make it interesting without the insanity of standard gauge. Working in O scale is so much more fun.

But if the HO Climax looks anything like the Shay. HO may not be hard to take.

I saw a pre-production model of the Climax at the National Train Show (and talked to the head of Bachmann about it...) I've got lots of hands on experience with the real thing, and the model looked great to me!
