I know there's been much discussion about flex track lately. If the track has any kinks in it and I mean even the slightest, some thing going to derail. Not every engine or car will but like I said in one of threads I posted. The car that has the tell tale wheel wobble will probably be the one. Or it could be a engine that's not just right. The reason that the 32 car coal train in my video looks so smooth winding around that 19" radius horse shoe curve is because all the flex track and it's joints are what you would say, on the money. I uploaded some photos of the three tracks that make up the curve. You can see the 19" radius curve joint close up. You can see how it's soldered, no gaps. Look at the tracks No kinks. No misalignment. I just bought a box of Peco track. I going to start adding another main to my upper deck. I'll either take photos or video the flex track soldering and bending of the curve radius part. Maybe then everyone will have a better under standing of what has to take place. Part 2 coming soon as possible.

Very smooth looking trackage, George. You're absolutely right about getting those joint kink-free and smooth. Good start, I look forward to Part II.
