Ok does any one know if the Kato's dash 9 norfolk southern. Do they sale it in the horsehead scheme? Im lookin into buyin a loco soon. And i would prefer kato or athearn and i narrowed it down too kato's SD-80 mac or there dash 9? And if anyone can find a pick of kato's dash 9 can you please give it to me also.

One More thing i saw that athearn makes an dash 9 horsehead. It looks nice but how does athearns quality trains compare too there Genisis line? Do they realy differ all that much. If so what so much better about Genisis then there regular line.

I don't think they have a horsehead D9. Reason being is the Horseheads were put on about the same time as Kato last released a D9. Kato is slow on releasing new scheme's, not like Athearn, Atlas, or Tower 55/Overland.


On the down side..:(
ALL of NS D9s has high mounted highlights..Athearn has them mounted on the nose.:(
