Kadee Cars


I don't have and Kadee products up on my site yet (though they are coming), but the most I can offer off is around 10%.
 
Thanks Guys for the reply. The cheapest I had found was Toy Train Heaven but was wondering if anyone had their prices beat. I love Kadee cars and own enough to have stock in the company so I try to shop for bargins when I can. Mike J
 
Toy Train Heaven probably is the best you'll find. Kadee doesn't give much of a discount, so anyone selling them for less than TTH isn't making much/any money on them :rolleyes:

I'd like to be able to offer the same prices as TTH, but to be prefectly honest, I pay almost the same price you see on their website ;)
 
Nate, I'm curious and not prying into your business but how do companies like TTH sell at those prices if there's so little mark up? Do they buy in bigger volume and get a bigger discount? Does Kadee use distributors or do you deal with them direct. I love their products and think they are the standard by which all others are measured. On the other hand I think the 40 dollar range is a little steep for the covered and open hoppers. They don't seem to sell as well as the boxcars do. I wish Kadee sucess and to keep offering more great models. MIke J
 
Well, without getting into any specifics ( ;) ), I buy from a distributor, whereas TTH more than likely buys directly from Kadee. I don't have the kind of sales volume required to have an account directly with them, so I end up paying a little more when I do order items.
 
I appreciate the reply. I know this topic is getting a little off track but just wondering other peoples thoughts on the price of Kadee cars? I don't think you can dispute the quality of the product but maybe the price. Mike J
