My only purpose here is to learn about power. Learn about manual and power switches. And to learn about the atlas planning software. Ya that weird backward branch is way to long if I can only put1 or 2 cars there but whatever. I have not put power to it yet, but I know there will be issues as some of the rail joiners are lose. Unless you can tell me another way to tack the track down without having to do a lot of rail clean up work after, I'm just gonna use #4 screws. Yes I may break a few ties. But I can live with that. This really is very temporary as I plan on just trying stuff while I wait for new couplers. I'll have to run it on the floor as there is no margins for error with potential derailments

Attach with latex caulk. Doesn't take much for a temporary layout. A tiny dot at each end of the sectional track. Taking it up to re-position and cleanup is a breeze. Beats drilling all those pilot holes for screws.
