Hi everyone,
First let me wish everyone a Happy & Prosperous New Year. I'm Simon Busby and I reside in the City of Cape Town, South Africa. I model North American railroads in HO scale, with my favorite railroad being the BNSF. I don't have a layout at present, so I spend my time building dioramas. I'm also into photography & videography

Howdy to the other down under. I built many a locomotive for South Africa ( worked at GE for 38 years.) Does anyone down your way model the early GE's and EMD exported down there ?
 
Welcome aboard, Simon. South Africa has always been a fascinating country to me and one I still have on my list to visit. How did you get interested in North American trains and decide on the BN as the one you wanted to model?

Jim, you ask how I came to model NA railroading, it's a long story, so let's just say it was an evolutionary process
