<div> <b><font color="darkblue">June 2005 Model RR Photo of the Month</font></b><br> <br> The Topic is: <b><font color="red">Show us your best shot!</font></b><br> <br> This month is going to be pretty simple. <b><i>Show us your best model railroad photo</i></b>. Z scale to ride on live steam, anything that is considered a model railroad is fair game. Lego trains, wood sculptures and even Buddy "L" ride on toys (good luck finding one...) are all eligible too. <p>Be creative. Shoot a close up or go for the whole layout. Use the macro lens or go wide angle. Try a photo of a diorama outdoors with real scenery in the background. Maybe a simulated night photo, it's great way to hide that unfinished scenery. Narrow gauge, standard gauge, trolleys, tinplate, live steam, DCC, conventional DC, or kid powered trains like BRIO and Thomas the Tank Engine, it doesn't matter. Take a shot for the contest, or use one from your portfolio. The photos do not have to be taken in June. </p> <p>While we will have voting, please consider this to be a "show us your best shot" gallery, and don't worry too much about the competition.</p> <p>The rules are simple. One entry per contestant, and the photo must by taken by you. The train(s), track and layout do not have to be yours. Photos that were taken at public shows and/or layouts on public display are fine. If you're submitting photos from a private layout, please get the owner's permission.</p> <p>This one should be easy for everyone to participate in.
