old school
Felt like -10 with the wind this morning. not our coldest day this season but it was pretty harsh. Had to start the old dog up for its weekly drink and to circulate the fuel so it dont gel up in the lines. Its been parked for the year as the economy is very slow for construction.

Trent, why the mud flaps on the front?

I have 5 reverse gears;)

seriously tho

I pull an end dump trailer,Its Just to keep the mud splash off the front of the truck when running the haul roads in the dumps . At Some of the dumps and rock pits I go into I have to travel about a mile down wet muddy dirt roads. you can safely do about 25-30 MPH on the haul roads and the mud will splash up on the front, hood, and windscreen. they guys that have bumpers lower to the ground are safer but they get hung up more often and still have much dripping of the grill after they leave the pits... alot of the guys that run the high speed road trains in the out backs of Austraila do the same thing to keep rocks and mud on the roads where they belong.
