Hi there i have an ihc thats a digitrax dcc system and want to add sound to it can i get away with using the 2-6-0 mogul sound chip?

You say you have an IHC. An IHC what?
If it's a small steam locomotive, I would think you could use the sound from another steam loco as most people wouldn't know the difference. All they would hear is the chuff, whistle and bell.
