How It's Made


The old metal rollers, had a set just like that where I did my apprenticeship. Had Corrugated ones too for rolling Galv Iron into water tanks.
 
Really neat video, Wish they would of went a little more in depth, but cool to see the overview.
 
Fun!! Great Video, JazzDad, I have Forty Acres and it would have been fun to build one of these back when I might have been able to afford one. Having been a tool and die maker who owned his own shop, access to the machine tools needed would have been easy enough. Shoulda-woulda- coulda! I would have built a narrow Gauge K-27 Mikado of Rio Grande Southern linage. Probably #455 as it had an oversized cab making the reach in easier.
