Looking at the diagram on the package it doesn't really help me out. How do you mount them? On the frame? Shell? Can anyone post some pics of the kits they've installed?

It depends on the locomotive you're installing it on. Most locomotives you buy, it'll be mounted to the frame. If the underside of the plastic walkway is exposed, then the walkway.

Here's two decent photos of mine, of a BNSF GP60M:

Hey josh you got anymore all around closeups of the GP60M's as I have 3 to detail up myself, maybe 4 if I can find an ATSF GP60B

on my sd70 and sd75's... i mounted them to the underside of the walkways (since they were seperate pieces from the rest of the shell... i glued the walways to the frame so it wouldnt move around when taking the shell on and off...ive never done a MAC, so i dont know the shell differences as to whether the walkways are seperate...as for my dash-9s... i mounted them to the frame, and a few on the shell (above the fuel tank)... i only have bad pics..but i hope they help
