I recently had Jeff Tyrrell,
http://mysite.verizon.net/vzeyo4bi/index.html, build me a D&H style RS3M but lettered from my road, Great Lakes and New England railway. The heavy black weathering is from titanium ore and this unit is assigned to switch the mine and occasionally makes runs to the Albany NY area with ore to make heavy cement for highways.
Nice Looking unit---
I like that plant behind that unit as well---scratchbuilt?
Nice looking engine. Got a photo of the short hood end?

I'm slowly working on it (trying to build a large cement mix plant)
and this is the short hood side
Very intersting kitbash. Is it supposed to represent an actual prototype or a fantasy engine for your shortline?
Its a copy of the D&H RS3m
Cool. I thought I recognized it as a real engine but I couldn't remember where I saw it. You did a nice job matching the details.
