Hi Everyone.
Yesterday I stopped by Hobby Town in NW Omaha and bought me an HO Scale Bachmann Locomotive,BN 5491. It's a B30-7. A step down from the C30-7's. If I am correct,I think that the HP is 3,000HP. Here are some photos of my new unit. If I had a Layout. This unit would make a Great little Switcher unit with my other BNSF GP38-2 Locomotive's.

Pretty nice! Its not really a "step down" per say, its the same engine as a C30-7, basically the same engine as the preceding U30b/c engines too... A B30-7 just has 4 axles, not 6...

You're correct in the HP guessing though, GE sure makes that easy huh?

Hey Allan, I thought you were better at HP guesses! :P Just messin with ya. Nice unit there bud!
... Except the fact that its BAAchmann

Yep very nice looking engine ! And I just bought a Bachman Spectrum 44 Ton Switcher for my yard and it runs and looks good .Will post some pics in weekend photo section.

It must be just me then... Every one else I know has a good time with them, I used to buy Bachmann, I sold all of my old Bachmann engines, Still converting my Rolling stock.
