Depending on which one you have, these locos were actually made by Akane, but imported under the Fuji name. Akane made locos for several importers over the years. Solid mechanisms and most were good pullers. The locos were made from 1959-1964, before Mr. Akane passed away.
I have their USRA light 2-10-2, which is Akane thru and thru.
For information on brass there are several good books available.
First the Brown Book 3rd edition also there was just published the Brass Guide. there are also numerous publications by different builders/importers of brass locomotives.
I know the Brass Guide is now sold out but copies can be found on ebay ......WARNING: it's not cheap! $75-$80
Even the 3rd edition of the Brown book will be around $35-$40 now
Years ago Pacific Fast Mail a importer of premium models published a yearly guide which is still available used.
Collecting and running Brass' be it Steam ' diesel or passenger/frieght equipment is a very unique part of this wonderful hobby.
Just hunting down many of these books and such can be fasinating in itself.
Just a month or so ago a Extremly Rare PFM GN.engine was offered on Ebay and while the final bid was $500 and change that was less than half its value....somebody was verrrry happy.
