Well, the Babe was still the Babe, but unless something happens, I'd bet Ohtani is headed for the Hall of Fame. "Unfortunately", Oh pitches for the Dodgers and the Rockies will have to deal with him for a long time! Not that it matters much unless something changes drastically for the Rocks.

unless something changes drastically for the Rocks.
I believe it will happen soon; just be patient.

Although the Rockies’ minor league system ranks only in the middle of the pack, there are several exciting prospects on the horizon. If I were a betting man, I’d wager the Rockies will soon have an NL Rookie of the Year or at least a runner-up.

Ethan Holliday SS - No. 4 overall pick in 2025 Draft; son of Matt Holliday; advanced bat, super athlete! Already a Top 20 overall prospect. He looks to be even better than his brother Jackson.

Robert Calaz OF- Big power, middle-of-the-order potential.

Chase Dollander RHP - A top pitching prospect. Mid-90s+ fastball with great movement, potential Ace.

Adael Amador SS/2B - Switch-hitter with strong plate discipline; should be an everyday infielder.

Charlie Condon OF/1B - One of the best college bats in 2024 Draft; ++ power hitter!

Those are the cream of the crop. Like they say in the infomercials "but wait there is more!'

Yanquiel Fernandez OF, Sterlin Thompson OF/1B/3B, Dyan Jorge SS, Jaden Hill RHP, Benny Montgomery OF and there are a few more! The Rockies’ top prospects are impressive athletes across the board, with several already showcasing the defensive skills needed to compete in the majors.

The Rockies might face challenges for another year or two, but there’s a silver lining. Securing more high draft picks will only strengthen their future.

December 9, 1965 - Frank Robinson has officially joined the Baltimore Orioles!

At 30, Frank Robinson was considered “old” by Reds owner Bill DeWitt and was traded to the Orioles for star pitcher Milt Pappas, veteran reliever Jack Baldschun, and outfield prospect Dick Simpson.

The rest is well-known history in Baltimore.

SS John W. Brown - Liberty ship

Between 1941 and 1945, the United States built 2,710 Liberty ships. The SS John W. Brown is one of only three still preserved, docked in Baltimore at the Canton piers. These ships were designed for mass production, with the Bethlehem-Fairfield Shipyard turning out more than any other shipyard in the country.

During the second world war, the SS John W. Brown completed 13 voyages, primarily carrying military equipment and supplies to various locations, including the Persian Gulf. It also transported prisoners of war and played a crucial role in maintaining supply lines to allied forces.
