NSGP38-2

St. Denis MD Railfan
Haven't signed on to this site in like so long because of College.. but now since i have plenty of free time on my hands... i am ready to rail fan....
I have a simple HO scale layout with a Norfolk Southern GP38-2 and a Union pacific GP50... The buildings on my layout are made out of cardboard. Some of my cars are Hotwheels that I have customized... For example, the Camaro Cop cars... HW doesnt make those.... I do... I just started this hobby and love it... I am planning on getting another engine next week... possibly a Chessie or NS SD40-2...

Great start on that layout. Next you'll start with "real" buildings, Woodland Scenics ground cover, foam mountains, DCC....you just don't realize what you've started yet. :) Nice police car and fire truck fleet. Are you associated with a PD or FD or just like doing the models?

My major is Criminal Justice... and I want to become either a cop, firefighter, FBI agent, SWAT member, or anything in the field of lawenforcement. I have all the physical training done... and still working out to this day.. but need to finish college before i jump into a field such as these...

that's sacreligious having a mustang sitting at a tuner shop!

I kind of figured it must be something like that. I was a full-time deputy with LASO for five years and a reserve deputy in northern California for 25 years. The important thing is to finish college. Assuming you get hired, you'll spend your whole career with your butt parked in a patrol car without a college education. If you really want to try out for the FBI, you should minor in accounting since that's what the FBI looks for. I'm sure you realize you first need to become a street cop for a number of years before you ever get on SWAT. :)

As far as fire fighting, I learned early on to run out of burning buildings and let those fools in the turnouts dragging hoses run in so I'm not much help there. :D

I too have a 244hp v6 accord now. My Z wasn't stock. It was about 400rwhp, single turbo. Fun car :) Mid to low 12s on street tires. I miss it.

The GT500 is definitely a straight line beast......I meant my comment to be more of a joke :)

Ditto again! I am envious of all the vehicles. They really help make layout scenery look busy. You also have done well with the cardboard buildings...lot better than some of my placecards. ;) :D
