I have had model trains (Ho, Lionel and g scale) since I was a kid. Now that I have retired its to to build a new layout. My last layout was built over 50 years ago. Looking to find anyone around the Yosemite area who has a layout and wants to help me get started. I'm looking at a HO set up and maybe a garden railroad as well.

I hope you you find someone in your area to help.
I'm in west Texas so nothing but farmers/ranchers here so I do everything by myself.

I would suggest a club if you have one near you. It would be a great way to meet model railroaders, Some there may be willing to guide you on how to get started. The other alternative is to start with a small basic layout. Shouldn't need any help to get that started.
