HO & O (3-rail) trainman
I was doing some thinking, and wondering about how I'm going to start building some O modules (probably 2x4 max size per module), and got to looking around the garage and thought, "hey, what would track look like in here?"

Heat is my concern. Does heat affect tubular 3 rail track like it does the HO stuff I have? I've never run a lot of sectional track, so I didn't know how things would go, or if the pins need to have gaps/etc.

Thanks in advance.

O scale 3 rail track has been used in basements to attics for years. Using sectional track allows many joints for expansion/contraction. I doubt you'd have many issues.

Another thing is that it's cheap. I don't know, though, if the new stuff is still steel or is it nickel silver.
