Joined the YMCA and I'm going to start working out again. Getting a little too pudgy in my old age. Here's hoping for a better year financially in 2009 than most us saw this year.

I guess I have New Years Resolutions.

I am quitting smoking...long overdue.
I hope to start swimming again.
Enjoy a new hobby.

Happy New Year

Well besides a hobby to enjoy.

I have to start working out again. Just waiting until my brother in law's ankle heals.

The other thing I should do is find some sort of employment because school isn't getting any cheaper.

Try and get a new layout up and working. New layout to be DCC
nuff said wish me luck :D
So from my family to yours
Happy New Year All

Worked out tonight to start my New Year's resolution early. Was still able to bench press 110 pounds, which ain't too bad for a 62 year old guy. I want to get back up to 175, which was my max when I was still a deputy. It's amazing how fast you lose muscle mass when you don't lift every day. For some reason, my arms and shoulders are killing me. :)

Finish all my projects in a more time efficient manner. All my projects (especially personal ones) end up taking way too long to complete.

My resolution should probably be to spend more time on the layout and less time on here! I find that for every hour I spend on building I manage to spend about four thinking about it!:) Oh, and I need to lose ten pounds!

happy new year everybody! (it is here)

9.30am no hang over!! whoo hooo.

I'm thinking about a new layout this year!! and the usual must lose weight etc.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

THRIVE AND PROSPER. LIVE WELL.

I lost close to 30 pounds this fall, and seem to still be dropping a bit. another 5 would be fine. didn't work out, just did the big move, household, horses, farm stuff, and have been working in the barn every day, and in the house, and the yard....

anyone wants to get in shape, come up to the Dancing Lawn Sanctuary and Spa! I can guarantee you'll be whipped into shape.

I'm 51, 5'3, about 145, and can lift 100 pounds. I can lope about a mile easily, (not much, but its enough for my humble needs), I'm fit, and healthy, and don't seem to ever get sick.

Must be living right. :)

Seriously. I should maybe think about a farm spa holiday destination. hmmmmm.

have a great evening, those of you going out to party. :) come back tomorrow and tell us stay at homes all about it.

LTF: I hear you on the farm diet. My cousins lost a LOT of weight and built some nice muscle once they moved to their horse farm. I wish I could make it out there more. Between the guns, tractor, and now their train layout, always something to do.

Just turned 2009 here so Happy New Year to everyone who is already in 2009 and those still waiting for it show up. :)

Happy New Year!!!!

Happy New Year Folks!!

The slogan last year was "Lose weight in '08!" and that didn't work out so well.......I now have a t-shirt that says "Lookin fine in '09!" and should I become motivated, I'll get a shirt that reads "Try again in 2010!". :D:D

Well just finishing up a lovely summer BBQ with the family, I've been issued with a challenge lose 10kgs before the 1st of April.

So I'll have to lay off the sugary drinks (bourbon and coke premixed in a can) and my fatty foods I love. I'm 106 kgs so here we go!!

Ken.

my favourite slogan that I coined has to be:

LESS HARD WORK MORE FINE DINING

there is also my other favourite slogan that I coined:

If guys can do it, how hard can it be?

:D :D :D
