I know this topic has been brought up before, but I have some other questions...

first off..what is everyones opinion on this system?
http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-2314

Will this system work with more than one line? I have two main lines and im looking for one set of signals for both lines.

Second
What was that website that showed the over the road signal with gates and signals and lights on the gates all lit up?

Thanks,
Chad

I think I answered this before. The signal itself is fine but don't use the Walthers controller if you are running DCC. It will blow up the controller and possibly your command station as well. The amount of tracks controlled has to do with the detection system, not the type of signal. Logic Rail Grade Crossing Pro will handle both train detection and the lights flashing, as well as gate operation if you decide to get gated signals. You will need a separate unit for each track at the crossing if you want the signals to operate correctly. There's a video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjpzha4WGos that shows the gates and lights in operation although the NJ International signals don't have lighted gates. I don't know what company makes the ones with the lighted gates but I do know they are expensive. :)
