Got a SWEET deal today on ebay

I just had to share this, i picked up a Walthers Cornerstone Red X Cement Plant on ebay a few mins ago for $42.18 shipped!!!!. Some of you may know that this was the deluxe kit version of the Medusa Cement Plant that Walthers released some time ago, and it retailed for $59.98! http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-3704 I got mine for $42.18 and it has free shipping, just shows, deals can still be made on ebay every once in a while lol

This will be my second Red X Cement Plant kit that i have now, the last one i think i paid around $80 for it! and that was not on ebay, it was at a online hobby shop that had a bunch of hard to find Walthers Cornerstone kits, and as you can imagine, i went crazy and spent like $600 on 2 Assembly Plants, 2 Stamping Plants, Red X Cement, Guard Shack, Air Filtration Building, and a couple Air Conditioning Unit Kits, as well as a few other random kits from Walthers, all Walthers products that have been since long retired lol, paid pretty much full retail on most of them and a couple of them even more then they retailed for, so they were hardly a deal lol

Man im exited about this, now i can really get my Cement Plant module rolling, it will feature a Valley Cement Kit, 2 Red X Cement KIts, Blue Star Ready Mix Kit, Bulk Transfer Conveyor Kit, and alot of details like conveyors and piping, im really going to go all out on this one lol, sorta like my Assembly Plant Module

Good catch, Josh. It's amazing to see how outrageous some prices get and how many other good deals get passed up. Sounds like your cement empire is going to start to rival the steel mills some of the guys here have.

hehe thanks guys The Cement Module is going to be one heck of a module i think, 2x8', cement plant along the entire back half of the module, cement truck and gravel/dump truck parking along the front, with a large highway bridge running down the right front and curving down the right side's 2', i can see it all now. This will also give me the chance to start making some of those Concrete Bridges i was talking about a few weeks ago and hopefully selling them as well

Just to give you an idea of how good of a deal this was, here is a Medusa Cement Plant kit on ebay right now thats ending soon, its currently going for $40.00 plus $7.99 shipping, it has 13 hours left, and its already more then what i just paid for the Red X Cement Plant. Remember, the Red X Cement Plant is the deluxe version of the Medusa Cement Plant and comes with resin details plus brass handrails, walkways, and walkway supports :mistht: Heck of a deal in my book, considering the normal version of the kit is going for more then the deluxe version sold for hehe. Okay seriously, im done bragging now, im just so stoked i picked this kit up for so cheap

Well it just might, i just checked on the Walthers site, out of stock and retired, retailed for $35.98. Since when was the Medusa kit retired? I seem to remember not to long ago that it was in stock and they were all over the place, i didnt know they were now retired... lol But still, $47.99 for the medusa kit is pretty steep, and i dont think i would be willing to pay that if i needed one lol
