We recently inherited a set of N scale and HO scale trains. Before letting our very young daughter play with them, we'd like to ensure that we give her the trains with little value to play with while she's learning to be gentle. Is there a place to look up that value? Thank you for any info you can provide.
 
photos and descriptions can help N scale is small so with a young child might be better if you wait till she was a little older but HO is a little larger in size easier to handle and not as easy to choke on it.
 
Irongrave brings up a very good point about choking hazards. Even with HO scale there are little bits and pieces that can easily be broken off or knocked off. There is also the power pack or transformer as it is also called which plugs into an electrical outlet. Under 7 years old it might be wise to have her enjoy the trains with adult supervision.
