Generic boxcar brown paint?

I need to install and paint grab irons on a walthers boxcar I just got. Is there a specific paint that is the 'generic' boxcar brown color?

It is somewhat beetween BNSF oxide and CN brown to me

There isn't a "generic" boxcar paint......there is boxcar brown and boxcar red and caboose red and ATSF brown and tuscan and tuscan red and on and on. The differences are usually subtle but definitely noticable. Your best bet is to take the car with you when you go to get paint.

I guess it's more complicated than I thought. This is only my second 'brown' boxcar and I assumed they were all same colors.
