Continuing with the tree build, I opened the last package of dead limb material, and, well, not really what I need.....
Look at the size of this stuff. Pretty much all the small residue in the bowl is from the first two bags. This big stuff is from the 9" tree kit that comes with 15 trunks. Way too big for limbs, I'll use it as deadfall...........
But, a few weeks ago I filled a cardboard box with these armatures from a plant called Rabbit brush, growing here in the high desert of Oregon.
Lots of small twigs on this plant for limbs and the grey color makes a good contrast.
