The GP38-2 has had some surgery on the insides to fit in an Athearn DCC ready board and lights so while it wasn't DCC ready when new it looks to be now. Also has lights instead of cab bonfire.

ESU LokSound 5 21pin 'MKL' with all the various protocols, not just DCC. New. Look up P/N 58449 for full description. $90
WOW Diesel, decoder only, 21 pin. It works fine, was just to try it and I like ESU better. $45
Digitrax DH16something, since replaced by an ESU and I don't remember what P/N it is but discontinued. $12
