Favorite O Lionel accesories

What are some of your favorite Lionel accessories over the years? Stuff you own or are looking to own. Mine is the Rotary Aircraft Beacon. Such a cool accessory that really adds some light and action to your layout. I forget it's # but I know I have a red one and now it's seems to be offered in a green structure as well.

When my Christmas layout goes up and it's waiting for me to give it some throttle for the 1st time of the season, that unmistakable, rhythmic sound of the spotlight rotating, red and green light shinning over the freight cars and buffalo snow...it's just awesome and hands down my favorite accessory.

Mine is my 75th anniversary gatemen. So much history and to think how many layouts these things have been on in their many forms is mind boggling.

The one I want to get the most is the Animated news stand with the dog.
